was the source of inspiration for this one, his nacho ponies, got me thinking how much I like my family’s home made nachos.

I know I whine about this sort of Adventure Time/Scott Pilgrim-reminiscent look a lot and how much Tumblr uses it, so maybe it seems hypocritical of me to say that I love these. But in all honesty, my beef was never so much with the basic look of the designs as much as the flatness and ‘lol heres some crap i drew :I’ feel emanating from the images themselves. That ‘I’m not really trying THAT hard’ self-distance.
There’s no trace of that here, however - these are simple designs but drawn earnestly and naturally with proper posing and anatomy and perspective. A far cry from [insert names of artists that I wanted to single out but then didn’t because I decided I don’t want to start a poop hurricane]
